DURABRAND DUR7 7 in. Portable DVD Player

We bought this DVD player specifically for our toddler in May 2006 at around $80 at Wal-mart. It traveled the ALCAN highway with us for 7 days, survived numerous "accidents" of fluid spillage and crumbs wedged into its small crevices and made it to our new home. Since then it has been with us for almost 2 years now and resides in our toddler's bedroom floor where it has been walked on, washed with milk and continues to collect crumbs. However, like Timex, it takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'!

It has played great ever since we bought it and still does. It came with a car adaptor and plug to charge the battery. I find that the only time we had to actually use the battery power was while flying and it lasted an average of 3 hours playing time. Other than that, it is usually plugged in to view or when traveling by car, the car adapter works great and is long enough to reach into the back seat. It also has a plug for earphones for those times when you just can't take anymore "WE DID IT! WE DID IT! WE DID IT! YAY!" chants from Dora the Explorer ringing in your ears on long car rides.

It also comes with a remote and that worked great when we had it, however the remote has chosen to go in hiding for now.

To sum it all up, I don't think much anything could kill this DVD player or cause it to not work! With relentless attempted murders by a demanding 3 year old, it lives on and reigns and lives up to its name: DURAbrand!
