DURABRAND DUR7 7 in. Portable DVD Player

purchased this dvd player as a gift for my daughter for christmas. on april 11th it quit working. exactly 1 month 1 day after warranty expired per the date on the receipt. she didn't actually start using it until december 25 of 2005. the player started saying "no disc" for every disc we put in. we cleaned it according to the instructions in the book and according to the instructions at the website. i emailed them asking what we can do and told them what we did; i received an email telling me to do all of the those things and if that didn't help it was probably electrical and they were sorry. (obviously it didn't or i wouldn't have emailed them). didn't offer any kind of other help or what it might be as to what parts we might order. i did tell them that it's too bad they don't think enough of their product to offer anything more than a 90 day warranty.

april 29th--after a weeks worth of emails, i finally get to send the dvd player to them for fixing--cost $25 + the almost $9 shipping with $200 insurance. iffixedwillhavenew 90daywarrantyand1yearonsame part;ifunabletofixthey will replace it.
