The Bottom Line:
Do not get it because you can find something better for the same price!
My boyfriend and I recently got our own place and his mom would not let us bring the television from her basement, so she bought us a new one… and of all the TV’s in the world she gets us a Dynex. I had nothing bad to say about these televisions until I actually owned one. There’s not much at all that I actually like about this TV. I’ve never heard such awful sound come from TV speakers before. It’s so quiet. If we have our fan on in the same room we can barely hear the TV unless it’s almost at full volume. Even when you can hear the sound, the quality is so bad you can hear that rattling noise that bad speakers make. Turning the TV on and off can be a nuisance too. When you press power on the remote the television doesn’t turn on immediately like most TV’s. It takes at least five seconds before the system is actually on after you press power. I think the longest I’ve had to wait for it to turn on was thirteen seconds. I have so many doubts about this TV. I’d never even heard of the brand name before. If it was my choice from the very beginning I would have bought a Sony. I don’t suggest anyone buy a TV from Dynex. It’s just not worth the money.
