Epinion: Emachine -Egads, don't do it!
Pros
cheap, last, last, last option, gun to your head
Cons
hardrive failure, won't turn on, hard drive makes noises, etc..

Read adventures with my 1st Emachine. Read adventures with my 2nd Emachine. Read articles and stories w/ my new, real computer.
I usually stick to my subject area which is fitness, but when i saw that Emachine was being reviewed, well I couldn't hold back. DON'T DO IT !!!
1) I know the Machine is "free"
------- oh, you will know why when u get one, believe me.
2) Month 1, My First Emachine
------ lasted 29 days b4 the harddrive swallowed several unsaved works and crashed...luckily the manager realized i would have strangled him if he stuck to store policy of NO RETURNS AFTER 15 DAYS
Month 2, My Second Emachine
----- Lasted 3 weeks before the hard drive started to wine and the machine stopped turning on.
There was no time for strike 3. The managers telepathy was uncanny when I arrived with the 2nd machine in hand. "Hold on a second, I'll get you a Compaq"
3) Tie in for connectivity; 3 Years of HEL_!!
------- and again, you'll b stuck with the same provider for 3 YEARS, (remember, any computer is outdated after 2 years) and your Emachine will be lucky to make it through 1.
and, technology is changing so quickly that it is scarry to think of comitting to anything for such a long period of time. Save Time and Money...Pay more now and be happy when in 2 years you upgrade to a completly different media, computer, entertainment connection.
