The Bottom Line:
IF YOU WANT IT TO JUST WORK, GET THIS E-MACHINE AND DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT!
I have three computers that I work on, daily. My IBM has DSL and it is always needing extra time to get it onto the right place. My E-tower, on the other hand, has no DSL, is faster than both my other brands, and never gives me a hassle.
I like desk top computers that just work! The most problem this machine has ever given me is that I, occasionally, need to turn it off for a couple of seconds, and then just turn it back on, to find it working great! Now, that's not asking for much, is it?
My E-tower is set for DVD, has Celeron Intel Inside, is designed for Windows 98, has 366Mhz, 32 MB, 4.3GB Hard Drive,and I don't even care what most of that means. What is important to me, is that when I want to use it, I don't have to go through a bunch of stuff to get it up and running.
My photos have all come out so clearly, my business works are clear, and it is just a work horse. If you like your computer to have lots of extra words on the tower, lots of extra everythings, you may not be satisfied with this little number. All I can really say, is that compared to my IBM (with the DSL) and compared to my Canon, this machine is 'old faithful!'. This one has DVD to watch movies, is great for graphics. I didn't know what all it could do, until my friend came over and made beautiful graphics on it that just danced all over the place! I am a meat and potatoes type of computer user.
I drive a car, but, I can't fix one. I use this computer, but, I don't want to have to learn to fix it. It is always ready to go. I don't need a computer geru on hand to have faith that I can get my messages out and/or in!
If you just want a computer that is easy to use, easily kept running, and not a problem maker, this is what you'd like to have. Trust me on this one, if you are not a computer geru!
