I love mine
Pros
Nicely Priced
Cons
none really
Recommended it?
Yes
I bought my Emachine really for my children, I wanted something basic that would last. I must say I was impressed. It came pre-loaded with a ton of software titles and was very quick.
This particular Emachine came as a bundle pack, computer, monitor, printer & scanner. So I had a complete computer system for less than $600, not to bad. You can choose to take Compuserve as a Internet provider for 3 years and get a $400 rebate, I choose against this simply because it seemed like more of a waste of money than just buying the computer. If you choose to go with the Emachine network you can send your computer in to them after 2 years and have it upgraded to the best system they sell for $99, again not too bad of a deal.
I have not had any of the problems others have mentioned with illegal operations and such and my kids do get on the computer a lot, when they aren't on it my husband is.
I would recommend the Emachine to anyone wanting a good quality less priced computer.
