A good low priced unit
Eclipse, known for excellent sound quality did a good job with this unit. Sleek look and ease of use are great with the 3422. This great piece of hardware will look great in most any vehicle.

Great headunit. Does all the basic features with outstanding clarity. For those of you that know Eclipse, know that this was their business model back then - no special features, extremely great SQ.

Outstanding sound quality but, security risk
As title says, Eclipse knows what they are doing when it comes to sound quality. I have compared a number of decks and while there are good options that are cheaper, Eclipse consistently produces top-notch results whether you are running an amplifier or not.
