The clarity of sound from this cd deck is amazing. I have had many other more expensive decks but the CD1000 is by far the best yet. I am running an amp also made by Eclipse (CD2000) but even with out the amp the deck has plenty of power to get the most out of your speakers. Like I said ,I have had several other more expensive Cd decks that dont even come close to the quality of the CD1000.It also has some really great features that you just dont get with others. You will not regret buying this one. Eclipse has set the standard!
