CD7000
Pros
It allowed me to use the steering wheel controls on my Toyota.
Cons
Too many to mention. Buyer Beware.
Recommended it?
No
My experience with the CD7000 was not a good one. The remote doesn't work well because as you push the buttons to change channels, it's a toss up if the unit will receive the signal or move 2 channels instead of one. Very poor!
The software to import pics for the display doesn't work either. I tried several times, going step by step with the Jenglish [Japanese English] manual and never was able to import pics.
The control knob is also not easy to use. For example, as you adjust the EQ, it will change bands when you don't mean for it to. The sound was also not as good as I've experienced with Sony using the same speaker and Sub setup.
When I called Technical support, they weren't very knowledgable about the radio, plus I was on hold too long.
Overall, this is by far the worst radio I've ever had. My Sone Xplode blows the CD7000 away, both in ease of use, as well as sound.
