Emerson Radio Corporation Dora The ExPlorer DVD Player

My children received both the TV and DVD player as Christmas presents. They worked fine for a week or two and then the DVD player went out and read "No Disc." We sent the DVD player back to Emerson and received a new one. After a couple of weeks this new DVD player is acting the same way. It will play only one movie before it heats up and stops working. It often reads "No Disc." The TV is making strange noises while it is turned OFF. I wouldn't recommend either of these products to anyone . Save your money and stay clear of any of the Emerson products.
