Emerson Radio Corporation EWV401 S-VHS VCR

i'm a technician and i have already seen 8 of these units come thru my shop with various problems such as, bad loading mechs due to cust. shoving the tape in too hard due to the ir being bad . not being able to control the machine from the control panel on front due to a bad capacitor on the main board and mode select switches going bad due to bad lube inside. if you really want to buy this unit because it's cheap, remember, you get what you pay for , if you want quality, pay more, i tend to have less problems with sanyo/fisher vcr's and mitsubishi's.
