My Third Emerson Automatic-set Radio
Pros
The convenient arrangement of controls, and the radio's self-setting capabilities.
Cons
The radio cannot adapt to our state (AZ) which does not have Daylight Savings time.

Because I was so pleased with my two prior Emerson radios I searched for another one, the CKS3029, which was even more talented, because it could remember all my alarm settings in event of a power outage. The price was very reasonable for so many features. However, I was astonished to find a tag on the power cord which said that the cord contained a known carcinogen or reproductive toxicant, and to wash my hands after touching it!...This warning should be affixed to the outside of the box...I returned the radio to Target immediately, not willing to expose myself, children & pets to this unknown toxic substance.
