You snooze you lose!
Pros
Easy to read, self-setting clock, two alarms with 7 day/weekday/weekend options, progressive alarm volume.
Cons
THE RADIO SLEEP BUTTON (MIDDLE OF THE SNOOZE BUTTON) WILL TURN THE ALARM OFF!
Recommended it?
No
The Bottom Line:
Avoid this clock if you EVER use the snooze function.
This clock has a MAJOR flaw that makes it worthless to me.
I normally hit the snooze button at least once before I get out of bed. The snooze button on the top of this clock is the same color as the rest of the top of the clock, so it doesn't catch your eye. The radio sleep button is located right in the middle of the snooze button, and it's darker than the snooze button, so it stands out.
When the alarm goes off, if you hit the radio sleep button instead of the snooze button the radio turns on. Then you have to turn the radio off with the "Radio On/Off" button (also located on top of the clock). The alarm stops sounding when you hit the sleep button AND IT NEVER COMES ON AGAIN! This has to be the worst design flaw you could have in an alarm clock, short of putting the "alarm off" button in the middle of the snooze button.
I loved my old Emerson alarm clock that I used for years before it finally stopped working. I can't believe that Emerson would design an alarm clock with such a fundamental flaw, but they did. I will be returning this clock and if I can't return it I'll throw it away.
If you EVER use the snooze function on your clock, avoid this clock. If you never ever use the snooze, the clock is great.
