Nice Look Excellent touch!
Pros
Blue Screen, Loud, Great range, Nice 3 easy modes, dimmer, POP, VG-2 Immunity.
Cons
Kinda too loud at times, safeway..., and a nice smash and grab thief eye catcher.

The Bottom Line:
I'd say get this, because it has the ultimate in police detection and can upgrade with new technology when it comes!
I bought this off of ebay for about $300 (thanks to taxes). It was to replace my cheap whistler 1730 DE. This thing is sweet and nice. It has the very stylish blue look that can grab attention from your friends in the car, and cars next to you unless you want to turn the dimmer on to make the light and meter almost invisible. This is especially handy for night driving and don't want to attract attention to yourself. I find this is very good at finding POP and the k-band. I live in NorCal and the K-band seems to be the thing police are using up here. Not so much of the Ka band yet, and some X-bands thanks to nearby stores. It has definetly reduced the amount of false alarms I used to get with my whistler, but it still picks up safeway, mountain mikes pizza (I wonder why??), and some cross walks that for some reason, use the K-band. But no radar detector is perfect. It has however, saved me from POP a few times in my neighborhood, and I am loving the VG-2 Immunity. This thing also has some really nice range too. and I can tell it really works around cars too. If anything, I'd definetly recommend this if you are a leadfoot. For those who just go slightly over like 10 or 15, go for someting cheaper! but overall this thing is really nice!
