I have no complaint after using on my first trip of over 2000 miles across country (Midwest to East coast). I am still amazed at what it picked up. The only time it was ineffective was due to skill of the cop who was using it. He positioned himself on the back side of a small raise behind a concrete barrier which caused the gun to be pointed upward and all signals to be shielded from on-coming traffic until he could see you. This reduced reaction time to zero. You could never see him until he had you.
The only minor complaint I have is that the suction mounting bracket allows the unit to tip down in the back and does not provide any type of unit to bracket locking mechanism. This means if you have any tension on the power cord, road bumps will cause the unit to come off the bracket. I solved the problem by using an extension power cord to remove all cord tension and mounting the bracket in such a way that the unit rested on a piece of foam sitting on the dashboard.
