Monotony banished

The Bottom Line:
A great way to make getting fit in the pool less mind-numbing. If you spend an hour or more swimming, you will not want to do laps again without it.
I've been using the SwiMp3 for nearly a year now, and although the first one I was sent was defective, the seller quickly replaced it with a good one and sent me a small gift to compensate for the trouble. I swim about 6-7 hours a week and the SwiMp3 has made a signficant difference in how I enjoy my time in the pool. That is to say, the time usually goes by much more swiftly and up-tempo music helps keep up my pace.
I live outside of North America and am trying to learn another language. While I can't practice my language skills underwater, I can listen, so I intersperse my music with language training MP3's and I find this has improved my ability to retain vocabulary. I also purchased a lap counter that I wear on my finger and now my mind sinks into a state of "relaxed concentration" with music playing in the background. I concentrate on my form while my mind drifts and my thumb stabs out the laps automatically.
I don't care what order the music plays in, and apparently unlike some others, I find the SwiMp3 always starts at the last song from the previous day. I refresh the play list once a week and I can easily swim 3-4 hours without recharging. It has been recharged literally hundreds of times now, and I don't find the battery life has shortened at all. This product is convenient, easy to use, and anything that helps me enjoy the act of keeping fit is well worth a couple hundred bucks.
