I received this camera as a birthday gift last October. I am not a serious photographer by any stretch of the imagination, but do have a minor interest in the field of photography. I was quite pleased with my gift as I began using it. The camera is very easy to use, there are no tricks or hidden secrets. It was very easy to learn how to use every feature that this camera contains. The power zoom is a wonderful feature that allows you to get a closer look at any subject. There is a date stamp feature in the camera that can be easily removed, and a red-eye reduction laser. One of my favorite features on this camera is the remote control. Instead of trying to race from the camera to a position in the family photo before the camera's timer goes off, simply stand in the group, point the remote, put your arm down, and take the picture. Simple! For anyone who wants simplicity in picture taking, Fuji has your camera.
