Shoot!! You can't beat this one!
Pros
Quick, light, easy to load
Cons
None that I've found so far
Recommended it?
Yes
When I first received this camera as a "chosen" gift, I was wondering how well it would take pictures?
I was pleasantly surprised. My experiences usually run with the 35 mm cameras. And, I wanted a good point and click, not to much think camera to "keep track of my life" if you will.
This camera has red eye reduction, zoom lens, and it is heaven.
I have been taking pictures with this for almost a year, and every photo is absolutely clear, vibrant, and offers the choice of close or far away, and all options work wonderfully.
The only pickle that I have with this camera is that it uses a 3 Volt battery, and those are a bit pricey. But, they do seem to last quite a while.
I try to recycle, and I use rechargeable batteries, and as of yet, I have not found 3 Volt batteries to "recharge" time and time again.
More of my background, my mother is a professional photographer. If I can feel great about the quality of photos coming from this little point and shoot camera, it should be considered a great choice.
With photographs in my house growing up, perfection was practiced, and expected with photographs. If I can be satisfied, then trust me, it's a good shot!!!
This camera also affords the luxury of lock and load, if you will. You put your film in, shut the door, and off it goes. It winds your film to the very end. You begin at the end of your film.
As you shoot your shots, the film winds itself back into the camera!! Pretty smart. It also tells you how many exposures are left on the film that you're shooting.....What a great feature.
If you take a lot of photographs, one thing you probably hate, attempting to guess how much film you actually might have left in the camera and whether or not you'll be able to get that one last shot on the film? Am I right?
Well, this camera helps alleviate THAT problem!!
Trust me, well worth it.
