Looking for a portable TV for your car? Well keep looking.

Pros plugs into car, plays VHS tapes, very portable
Cons fairly heavy, no hi fi sound input, speaker only on 1 side
Recommended it? No
The Bottom Line:  Not a good buy.
Just as it says in the title, this TV is not the way to go if you are looking for a TV for your car but is an OK tv if you are looking for one that will not be moving.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CAR TV
Keep looking!!! We have had this TV now for a while and it is defiantly not a great car TV. Here are the main reasons why:

1. If your watching a VHS the screen shakes whenever car is in motion. (It will move up and down, left and right. It's strange)
2. If you are watching live TV, there is no way to get the antennas in a spot where you will always have a good signal. (Even though movement will always change the signal no matter what car you have, this TV has exceptionally bad antennas that really ruin the TV watching.)
3. It only has one speaker!! (The left side of the car will be able to hear it much better because there is only one speaker and it is on the left side.)
4. No Hi-Fi Input. (If you are watching home video or playing a video game in the car, there is no way to plug in hi-fi sound (the red wire).)
5. It always has to re-search for channels whenever the car is turned off. It searches up to channel 125!! (SUGGESTION: To stop it from searching, turn the TV on, then turn it off, then back on again. It will then stop.)

But, it's not the worst car TV in the world. It does have some good features too, such as:
1. It has a headphone jack so you don't have to disturb other passengers in the car.
2. It has a remote control, so even if you are sitting in the back of the car you can still control the TV.
3. Alows you to plug it into an AC outlet in your home if not in the car.

Overall, it has more bad things that good things for car use. So, continue looking before purchasing this one.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AN IN-HOME TV
This TV is defiantly a better in-home TV than it is a car TV. But, it does still have it's bad parts. Here they are:

1. Doesn't have a hi-fi input (the red wire). If you are trying to record something off of a video camera or a video game, you will not be able to record in hi-fi. You will have to use the standard yellow and white cables. Also, if you just like watching TV or playing a video game in hi-fi, you won't be able to with this TV.
2. If you lost the remote, you have a problem. The TV is still functional without it but you will loose the following features:
A. Being able to type in a channel number.
B. Be able to put the video in slow motion.
C. Being able to put the video on pause.
D. Being able to reset the channels.
E. Being able to mute it.
F. Being able to use the channel return button.
G. Being able to use the wake-up and sleep feature.
H. Being able to record in EP format.
3. It only has 1 speaker but in home use, that shouldn't be too much of a problem. You can't really tell if you are sitting directly in front of the TV.

Of course, this TV has it's good features too. Here they are:
1. Being able to record shows off of live television automaticly with it's timer feature.
2. Very portable and easy to take to a different part of the house. It's a little heavy but it has a handle so it can easily be moved.
3. It has a headphone jack so if you want to watch TV in private or don't want to disturb others.
4. Comes with a DV power cord so if you ever want to bring your TV into the car. It will plug right in.

It's better to use this TV in the house, not the car. It just works better.
