Good overall unit but control panel could use an upgrade

Replace control panels to a more stable material to keep this unit a #1 choice for years to come.
very sleek and slim shape taking up little space, easy to use controls good sound easy to install. remote addition makes unit easier to understand. Price of unit was reasonable. Very nice looking and blends in nice with surrounding appliances and kitchen colour. The only problem really is the control panel with the stick on touch buttons, they have started to loose the little covers that hide the control buttons. I found this to be the only flaw with the overall unit. For the average family and older generation, this would be an ideal product to purchase and recommend to their friends. I have recommended it to my friends and family and have purchased a couple for my family members and they have enjoyed using their unit as well. GE puts out good electrical appliances, large and small. I will continue to purchase and use their products. I have been trying to track down the GE parts department for small appliances so I can replace the left side control panel but it has been a task.
Regardless of this small problem, keep up the great work in making Canadian customers happy with their purchases and warranties. I look forward to dealing with GE again in the near future.
