honestly cannot figure out how to use this clock.
and... it's a CLOCK!
It should be simple. And I'm no dummy. I can configure WindowXP machines, correct Linux OS mistakes, build computers from scratch, but this sucker escapes me.
It has plenty of buttons, but they make no sense.
When you load in a CD... it just sits there. Every other CD player starts PLAYING the CD... hello...
Ok - I'll press the triangle button - play on EVERY other device - does it play? maybe... maybe not... I've never quite figured out why. I just keep pressing it for varying lengths of time and eventually the CD will start to play.
I can't even begin to figure out how to set the alarm.
Good thing we just use it for my 3 year old who doesn't need an alarm yet.
We had a power outage today and the thing is blinking and has the wrong time. I press SET next to the little clock symbol, then press various other buttons, none of which seem to move the time either forward or back. I press-and-hold SET, nope, I get out the manual - I still can't figure it out. Oh well, I just need it to play music softly to help my kid go to sleep. OK - that much is working.
Then 10 min later is starts BEEPING! and wakes up my kid! Somehow the NAP mode got enabled - NAP mode??? What marketing beanhead thought a NAP mode was usefull? I rip the cord out of the wall and nearly threw the thing out the window!
