The GE Spacemaker? 74235 AM/FM/Weather/TV Radio is a convenient and inexpensive unit. The weather band portion of the receiver is not very sensitive and is almost useless, but the AM/FM radio is great and produces nice sound; the TV audio has limited utility. The built in light brightens up the darkest corner of the counter top. The presets and clock are easy to set; find the frequency that you want programmed and the press the preset you want it set to for a couple of second and it is saved. The biggest problem is that when there is a power outage, all the presets and clock are lost, requiring them to be reprogrammed. The display light is bright enough to act like a night light; the display light can be set to turn itself off a couple of second after the unit is turned on or you change frequency or preset. Mounting the unit to the underside of the cabinet was easy with four screws and spacers. Changing bands requires you to press the "on" button multiple time until you get to the band of interest.
