Good at first, but then it all goes down hill
I bought this as a cheap option to playing my non NTSC DVDs. Got what I paid for
When the player is working it is quite okay. But damn if it isn't cleaned every 2-3 dvds it will start fluttering or freeze up all together. So get yourself a cleaning disc when you purchase this and I think you'll be pleased. Read full review »

Buy cheap, buy twice
I bought two of these units. Worked well at first and then shortly after the warranty expired I started having problems. One unit inexplicably was trying to eject and the DVD drawer got stuck and there was quite a racket and I could smell smoke. But quite frankly, if a manufacturer can't guarantee... Read full review »
GPX DVD Player
I will not recommend the GPX DVD Player to anyone. I had it for less than a month and it broke on me. It finds random times to eject the disc if and when it actually finally reads it.
It takes forever to read the disc, when it finally does I usually get a "wrong disc" or "error data"...
