The Bottom Line:
A great product, much better than the price would suggest. A child could use it.
I got this as a gift a year or so back, and never really used it. My past experiences with these type of TVs had not been positive. Then the lights went out for a week.
Let me tell you, you never realize how much you miss TV until the power is out!
The TV is easy to tune to each channel. The audio is clear and actually of quite good quality. The tuning knob is also sensitive enough to be able to pick up even the faint radio stations. Also, the weather radio is invaluable when the power goes out.
When my electricity returned, I had really grown to like this little thing. It now sits in the kitchen so that I don't have to miss a show while I'm cooking, and with the wall outlet adapter I don't have to keep buying batteries.
This unit also has several lights attached which come in handy. The lantern function has two bar shaped lights on the back which can be adjusted in pretty much any direction, which are more than bright enough for reading. Admittedly, I have yet to use the detachable flashlight. The blinker is bright enough to see for a long way.
In short, this thing really does come in handy enough that if it were stolen tomorrow, I'd go right out and buy another one.
