I've had this unit for 2 years now and have found it to be mostly trouble-free. Good screen contrast and daylight visibility, intuitive user interface, and excellent PC connectivity. It's an excellent unit overall. The only gripe I have is that the battery contacts are poor and the unit will blank out if shaken when running on batteries. When running on ship's power, it's flawless. My other flying friends like to borrow it for long trips too.
