Very good performance
Pros
cheap, durable, performs well
Cons
doesn't feel durable, even though it is
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Great cheap drive with good performance. I've put it through the ringer with out fail.
So at the office we have 4 of these. We use them to go on location and to take files to and from work. They have taken a beating and we have not had any problems.
I've used mine on a daily basis for well over a year without fail. I have loaded everything from large psd files, to full movies on it and I have stored/saved content directly to the drive with out problem.
I have run 3 gig photoshop files directly off of the drive with issue also.
In my book, that is pretty good.
When you get it in your hands, it does not feel that sturdy, it looks it, but it does not feel it, but it is.
I have dropped mine more than a couple times without problem. Even though I can not recommend dropping it.
It loads content pretty quickly, video content is slower to save though.
It is a good looking design visually.
A valuable tool for anyone that transports large files or multiple project files or even as quick back up drive.
It has become an essential tool for myself.
This is one of 5 lacie drives I use, and I have not had any issues with the brand in the up to five years that I have owned some of the drives.
