Garmin StreetPilot 2720 - 3.7 in. Car GPS Receiver

The StreetPilot 2720 is a premium GPS automotive navigator that offers text-to-speech and traffic interface capabilities. In addition to the turn-by-turn voice prompted navigation available in earlier StreetPilot models, the 2720's text-to-speech functionality allows the unit to audibly announce the name of upcoming streets and points of interest (POIs), letting drivers keep their eyes on the road while navigating through busy traffic and tricky roadways.

Cons No internal battery, heavy, Garmin mount not recommend for motorcycles

Right out of the box the Garmin StreetPilot 2720 is plug and play for both your car and motorcycle. It is a single pound of navigation ready to serve the novice or experienced user without destroying the budget. Waterproof to 3 feet, one hand operation makes this one a winner.

Pros Very easy to use, customizable, easy to see. Great value for price
Cons Occasionally route is somewhat odd.
Recommended it? Yes

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing my first GPS, it was a Magellen Roadmate 800. Without going into detail (you can read my review of the 800) I returned it after 50 days.

The 2720 is so superior to the Magellen it isn't even funny.
