Garmin nuvi 265W - 4.4 in. Car GPS Receiver

Had one other GPS earlier.First the power chord broke,later the sound on the GPA went off.Looked around for a good navigation system that would be both reliable as well as not cost too much.Then bought a Garmin GPS after recommendation from friends.The  quality of this GPS is excellent because it still works like new.The sound is excellent unlike the other one I had in the beginning.As of right now all my best friends have the same GPS navigation system on our cars. Has been 1 year ,still runs smooth as the first day we met.The Gps system also has a TMCsystem.TMC stands for  traffic message channel.This application uses fm radio waves to communicate information.The GPS has an inbuilt FM transmitter that helps in this act.The gramin Nuvi 265W also has a SD card slot.This is not for any hardware sprt of thing,but for personal use alone.It can be used to upload pictures.The battery life of this GPS system is just like any other NUVI brand from Garmin.It lasts for 4 hours.But it may vary based ont he settings that an individual uses.Bluetooth ,brightness and contrast all affects the total battery life once battery assistance is used.Another important fact is that though the garmin Nuvi 265w does not look so much eye catching it surely does take a fall or two.i accidently dropped two times but no problems follwed.There was just a minor scratch at the point that fell on the ground.Other than that nothing major defect.The body is strong and reliable.It also shows trip speed,time needed for trip and various zoom in adjustments.One thing that caught my eye was that i could customize a car pic in the GPS.Mine is a blue car because i drive one.overall I like this item for its quality and would recommend it to anyone.
