Good unit, MANY features

Pros TONS of features! Easy to use.
Cons Had a problem with the cord.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  I would definitely buy this unit again. Easy to use and tons of features.
I Love my Garmin nuvi 750. This unit works very well. It has a 4.3" widescreen. You can choose from 2D or 3D maps and can choose the icon that represents your vehicle, such as an arrow or choice of numerous vehicles (and can download even more icons from the Garmin website). There are many features built-in, i.e. find local hospitals, gas stations, restaurants, local interest, ATM's, etc. It also has multi-destination routing (up to 10 routes saved). If it starts to get dark while you are driving, the color on the screen changes automaticly so that you are not blinded by the bright screen that is needed during a day drive. I like this because during a long drive it was a cue for me to turn on my headlights. This unit has a picture veiwer and an FM transmitter that plays voice prompts, MP3s or audio books all through your car's stereo system,a Currency converter and some language translation. There is also a slot for a SD card. The unit can be attached to a computer and updated through the Garmin web site.
Another good feature is called "Where am I?" that lets you save your location without knowing the address. For example y son moved to a farmhouse that you can't find with the GPS if you put the address in since it is a rural route. I followed him to the new house and then saved the location when I got there and now I don't have to worry about finding his house after two and a half hours of driving.
It's also compatible with optional FM traffic alerts or optional MSN? Direct content.
The only thing I would be watchful of is the power cord. One day I went to plug it in and it wasn't charging. I took a closer look and realized that (on the end that you plug into your car) pieces were missing. There's a metal ring that screws onto the end that holds in the fuse, spring and connection piece and it had come undone. All the small pieces it is supposed to hold together were scattered on the floor of my car and under the seat. I finally found them all and put it back together. Now every once in a while I check to make sure it is tight so it doesn't fall apart again. Other than that, everything is all good!
