Excellent GPS for frequent travellers
Pros
Everything, the screen, accuracy, blue-tooth.
Cons
The only "flaw" is that the NZ voice pronounces DR as "doctor" not "drive."
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Full featured and worth every penny.
I had two GPS units prior to this one.
The first was an old B&W Garmin that attached to my Laptop.
It worked, but was very awkward.
The next was a very large dashboard unit with a "bean bag."
This had the voice guidance and maps and was heavily used.
After a couple years I wanted a new/upgrade and bought the Nuvi 670.
This unit has it all, the right size and all the features I wanted.
Accuracy is spot on and and the screen is large enough to be seen easily.
Maps can be displayed in standard or 3D.
I frequently have 11 or 12 satelites in range, where other units have only had 6 or 7.
The ability to find hotels, food, lodging and other points of interest is very useful.
Having street maps of Europe is very helpful for anyone who travels a lot.
The battery life is great so it really can be useful for walking around a city that you are not familiar with.
The various "voices" are nice, so you can hear a familiar voice if you live in the UK or New Zealand.
Being able to have the cell-phone talk "hands free" via blue tooth is a nice feature that can save having yet another device in the car.
I haven't used it as an MP3 player (yet) but it can do that as well
What can I say except that this is a first rate quality unit.
