Small, Compact, Easy to use

Pros Easy to use. Nice size.
Cons No Canada maps, Satellite connection slow.
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  If you are planning trips for the US only, this is a great product!
I found this unit very easy to use right out of the box. My son has become quite the handy co-pilot by entering in an address for me without any directions on how to do it. (He likes the feature of changing the arrow to a car or a monster truck) I have tried a couple of units and this works just as well as the others. I like how thin it is and the size is perfect. The mount itself is also small, so I have it on the bottom left of my window and it does not obstruct my view while allowing me to see the name of the street I need to take a turn on. I have heard of GPS units that tell you the street name you are expecting to turn on, however I don't find that necessary. I found that the volume is very good and have turned "her" down because she was too loud. I did find that the satellite connection is quite slow and has been frustrating a couple of times. Once up and running it has given accurate direction and time frames for arrival. It doesn't really recognize short-cuts that you might be used to in your neighborhood, but it gets you there mostly by main drags. If you aren't familiar with an area, short-cuts really don't matter... it is the arriving to your destination that does! I do like how the screen is bright and clear.

The picture viewer feature is pretty nifty when you need to show off your pictures with a larger screen than the dinky one on your camera!

My biggest beef is that I didn't realize that this unit does not come with Canada maps installed. I have family there, so I tend to travel often. If you want to add Canada, it runs an additional $80. I find that redundant as the next model up isn't that much more.
