The Bottom Line:
If you need a GPS for your car I highly reccomend this model.
My wife and I are getting ready to move to a new duty station and we decided it was time to buy a GPS system for our cars. I was reluctant at first because I take pride in my maps and ability to find my way. Well I broke down and we began shopping for one. I have to admit that everyone claims that the one that they have is the best one. Even my friends got involved and said that I should get a Tom Tom. Well we finally went to Best Buy to buy one and the sales guy reccommended this one. Funny how it came down to that but I have been blown away and we bought two.
Pros
For the price this model gives you a lot of bang for the buck.
Very easy and friendly user interface.
Outstanding support and downloads from the website.
Works right out of the box but I reccommend downloading the updates first.
Uses a USB Mini connection for the charging plug. Which means you can use an old USB Mini cable you have at home (like for a camera or PSP) instead of shelling out the cash to buy one. Also it can charge from your computer.
It can be used hand held style for long walks or geocaching (the website offers support to easily to download geocahe sites to the unit)
Outstanding batterylife like 3 hours without a charge.
Cons
Now the only thing that this model doesnt have is it only says "turn right, turn left". It doesnt say "turn left onto blah blah street". It does however show you the next street up at the top.
Other than that nothing.
