If you already have one, just keep it
Pros
Cheap, works, newer gen players still don't sound as good as the Genica
Cons
Cheap construction, low battery life
Recommended it?
No
The Bottom Line:
With newer generation of CD-MP3 players, why even consider this piece of history?
And a piece of hisory it is! This is the first CD-MP3 player on the market!
Even after all the new gen players are now out, this is still the best sounding CD-MP3 player I've heard! Okay, that's all there is to it.
The bad includes cheap feel, low battery life, somewhat picky about the way a CD is burned, can't organize your songs...
The best use for this machine is your car with randomize on. (Though the randomizer may not sound too random-like after a while).
As a CD player, it also falls short. For some reason, it seems to buffer just one track...which means that when track 1 is done, you must wait 2 seconds before it starts playing track 2.
If you haven't bought one yet, get the SonicBlue RioVolt, or the upcoming TDK CD-MP3 player.
