JVC HD-70FH96 70 in. HDTV D-ILA TV

Noe that I have had my "NEW" JVC Hd-70FH96 TV for a little over a month, I feel that I can now write a review. I bought the TV because of the picture. This tv has the very BEST, CLEAREST, SHARPEST, CLEANEST PICTURE, that I have seen on any tv of any price!!! The TV was a demo in a local TV store for a little over one year, and I payed less than 1/2 price. As it was a demo and ran for 8 to 10 hours a day 6 days a week I was not suprised to see after about two weeks of use at home a message appear on start up The lamp needs to be replaced. At the purchase of the TV I mentioned that mybe the store would be so kind as to buy a lamp, as they may have used up the lions share of lamp life in the store, and they did. I also ordered a new lamp from Discount merchants.com for $169.00. The lamp that I ordered came first and I replaced it myself, as no special are required. I also reset the lamptimer, no sweat, real easy. The lamp, the store bought for me is now on my shelf as a recomanded spare. I can and have recommanded this TV to my friends. there is very little on this tv to wear out, other than the,lamp, cooling fan, and lamp ballest. Every time you change out the lamp, it becomes a brand new TV picture again.
