Pros
Nice value for a Sony which is usually higher than it needs to be.
Cons
Disappointed that there were no speaker mounting brackets. Just holes for screws in wall.

I just bought this one at Fry's on sale for $149 down $50 from the everyday price of $199. Got some time to unpack it and started to put it all together in just an hour. Was surprised to find that all speaker wires were furnished. Now I can return the 100' roll of wire to Wal-Mart. I have it connected to a Samsung 27" flat screen standard TV with DVD and VHS built in with a RCA cable pair and it delivers nice sound. I tried to connect it with an optical cable but that didn't work at all. Possibly the plug-in end came loose from the TV. I don't yet have the surround [rear] speakers set up high as I would like and are on a table top for now. The FM tuner delivers a nice clean program. All in all I would give it an 8 out of 10.
