HTC G1 Cell Phone

So I updated my Sidekick to this G1 cellphone and I have mixed reviews.  When I first purchased the phone, the battery life WAS AWFUL.  On a full battery after the second call, the battery would be dead.  Horrible.  However, i took it back to the store, they changed the battery and told me to download a file from the market and problem fixed.  It's still not great, but ok.  My warning would be to those who talk all day long (teenagers) Not the phone for you.  Although, it has great features, which I was so excited about.  I thought it was going to feel like a Sidekick phone with touch screen and better internet.  But I was wrong.  I like the phone.  However, it took me some time to actually get used to the slide up feature to get to the keyboard.  The internet on this phone is great.  It is fast fast fast. and you could see the whole page if need be.  It takes good looking pictures, and the sound is ok.  could be a little louder tho.  I had problems with not hearing my ringer at times, so I just switched to a loader ringer so I don't have that problem anymore.  I also love the Market within the phone and being able to download so much stuff for free.  I use the GPS, and has other free Android software to download such as phone recorder (records all phone calls secretly), and phone locator (software runs in the backround at all times, so that you can locate your phone at all times) those are my favs.  So, all in all, I've had it for 1 year now. and now after I'm used to it, could really not do without it.
