The perfect receiver for a medium-sized Home Theater
Harmon/Kardon is a brand that I consider to be in the upper levels of consumer electronics. The great thing about h/k is you can get the same great sound from their base model that you can from their upper tier.

A great "mid weight" pro !

Great sound and lots of features
I have now owned this receiver for almost two full years. It replaced a Sony stereo receiver that quit on me right after the warranty ran out. I bought the AVR 125 used for $110 from my local area craigslist and I have to say it was the deal of the century.
