Yes
The Bottom Line:
I would recommend this if you want an expensive status symbol unit that performs a bit above average
I have been an audio-phile for sometime...and I love this machine, I have had sony cd changers, magnavox, and Panasonic but I like this one the best so far. one of the only things I dislike about it is that it dosn't have a digital optical output, as I prefer digital optical to Coaxil.I havn't had any problems with it reading discs, nor have I had any problems with its reliability or quality of construction. The sound its more than exception, but I feel could be better and live up to the Harmon Kardon name a bit more. I have no real complaints about it tho. I have had mine for about 5 years and its worked wonderfully the whole time. I am not sure if I would buy another harmon kardon cd changer, dvd player etc becasue of the price to sound quality ration. I have gotten the same sound quality if not better out of some of the panasonic products I have owned that had digital optical outputs on them. they were the more expensive panasonics btw. The only reason they died is becasue I wore them out over years. but overall, this is a more than decent cd changer, it makes what few HDCD's I have sound wonderful, but I am sure the receiver and speakers definately help as well as the connections I have it on, ( I don't scrimp on good quality cables). but in conclusion I would reccomend this system to someone who has alot of money to throw at a cd player and who is looking for a status symbol kind of name brand. It hasn't let me down yet.
