Henry Kloss 044-WW-2097F-85001 Radio

I also own several other Henry Kloss designed radios- the KLH Model 8, KLH 21, Advent 400, and a few of the newer Tivoli Audio versions. I love these radios, and the Tivoli Model 1 produces exceptional sound and has terrific reception. What makes Henry Kloss designed radios special is that he designed the amplifier output to be a function of frequency to compensate for the speaker-enclosure nonlinear natural frequency effect. This produces a really nice tonal quality over a much wider range of frequencies than would ordinarily be possible.I have given over 10 Tivoli Audio radios as gifts. I also have quite a bit of Bose equipment, but feel that Kloss did at least as good a job on small radios- and the Model 1 is the best example of that- and it's available at a fraction of the price of the real competition. I am an Engineering Professor and am not in the acoustics field (or sales), but am also an amateur musician. I do know how to work on electronics.
