Impressive Performance

A clear and very bright screen. Well built, stable and reasonably priced.

I don't use the built-in speakers. I hear they are weak.

After extensive research and viewing all the top-rated flat screen monitors, I saw a clear difference in the HP vs19e. It is brighter and clearer than most and even surpassed the Sony X-Brite line. The HP build quality is also evident and the mounting stand is more stable than some of the more stylish models. The menu is very straight forward and I am surprised that I don't have to max out the brightness and contrast to get a vivid image. The specs are comparable to smaller monitors in terms of response time (8ms) and contrast ration (700:1).
