Exactly what I needed!
Pros
Beautiful, black laser printing<br>Long-life toner cartridge <br>Medium paper capacity
Cons
It's a simple, printer. Not a Multi-function copy, scanner, fax.

15 years ago, my father owned one of the first laser printers on the market — very expensive! When I purchased my first printer, I thought I wanted color — even at the cost of reduced quality of InkJet technology.
I've messed around with color printers over the last 10 years. InkJet, Photoprinter, 6-color, 2-cartridge, you name it! They all amount to a very expensive way to pay for ink! Especially when 95% of everything I print at home does not require color.
After shelling out thousands of dollars on InkJet cartridges, off-brand replacements, burned out print heads and messy ink refill kits (that don't work), I'm happy to say, I've returned to the land of pure printing perfection!
I did a little bit of research on this printer, picked it up two years ago and have only replaced the toner cartridge ONCE! It lasts and lasts and you get the beauty of smudge-free, perfect printing! No problems (other than the occassional print queue issues inherent in a Windows environment).
Drivers are available for XP, Vista and Windows 7.
I'm not looking back!
Excellent for every-day black and white, draft or high-res printing. I visit MPix when I need a photo printed.
