Worst PC experience I have ever had

Pros Decent graphics, fairly fast. Wireless ability. Lots of memory.
Cons Unreliable. Disapointed with Tech warranty service (except that recieved from management)
Recommended it? No
The Bottom Line:  I have owned 4 HP PC's and good luck with 1'st 3. I will try another brand next time due to this last very bad experience.
I could go on and on but in summary things that went wrong include in order: Out of the box could not create recovery CDs and had to order. Next the card slot drives (all 4) "disappeared" and had to run recovery to reinstall (of course lost everything I had entered including purchased software $$ lost). Next blue screen crashes (many) and massive hours with warranty techs on phone. Finally was sent warranty new Hard Drive to be installed by me (hope you have some PC skills if needing warranty help). Due to some fault of my own in handling return of old hard drive, I was billed for the new hard drive 4 times the going price and was not contacted before being billed. I still have not been able to get someone on the phone who can review this with me after 5 calls. The new hard drive fixed nothing and unit continued crashing. Techs wanted to send yet another hard drive and under my protest,  shipped the unit in and one memory card was replaced??? It had tested ok in many diagnostics over the phone after massive hours with techs. About 1 month of no use Ownership has passed at this point. Got the PC back and it ran ok for a week or two and crashed hard completely losing recognition of any drives (dead). I was finally assigned a case manager who was like night and day to the techs who seem to follow a script of diagnostics and tedious repititions consuming massive time even if done multiple time in past. Note if calling in even with a case number be prepared to start form scratch as the tech will not have any usable knowledge of past attempts. The manager agreed to replace unit and I have it now. Appears to run ok but it also lost all 4 card drives and I had to restore those same as first unit??? I am now in to 2 1/2 months and afraid to use the unit as I am worn out losing my work and being on the phone.
