I got my HP laptop as a replacement for a desktop PC. As such, it had to have all the capabilities, ports, plugs, etc that my desktop had, and it had to do it without chewing my wallet up and spitting it in my face. This is an excellent laptop for that specific use. It has everything... media card... Read full review »

Yeah! Really, I bought the predecessor (HP Pavilion ZV5410US) about fifteen months ago. No hardware problems. Just a few dead pixels - that's average, I understand. I play a few DVD's on it weekly. I've used some demanding video editing, photo editing, CAD programs, drawing programs, games... you... Read full review »

This is the first HP laptop I've owned (have had Compaqs, toshibas, Thinkpads in the past). I chose this over any Toshiba as I've seen too many hardware issues with Toshiba. This laptop is very durable and well-built! I upgraded the RAM to 2GB, and it has plenty of power to run an Oracle database... Read full review »
