Recommended it?
Yes
I got this scanner for FREE thanks to http://www.mycoupons.com.
It normally sells for about $99. I would have probably bought this one if I were to go out shopping for a scanner because of its price and the brand name,HP. Anyone that would want a scanner that is easy to use this one is for you.
I haven't really mastered it because I have never used a scanner until now. I learned how to scan the first day, but I really don't know how to do the high tech stuff that is not explained in the book. I am the type of person who needs a step by step instructions.
It came with the Adobe Photo Deluxe software. It does seems to have several different features on it to use as cards, invitations, and calendars.
It of course makes copies so no more trips to the post office. It's very easy to learn. I have learned how to scan today and I just got it. I thought that it would be more complicating than this. Simple and easy is the word for this HP 3200c Scan Jet Scanner!
My only complaint is that the scanner is kind of big and bulky. But it is a flat bed scanner and these seem to be the hottest ones on the market today. It's pretty long but you can fit large things to be scanned. The inside of it scans the size of an 8 X 10 photo or piece of paper. That makes it easy so you don't have to do all the shrinking before trying to scan. When the picture comes out in Adobe Photo its not 8 x 10. Of course you can size it the way you want, and to be as small as you want.
With the Adobe Photo Software you can send to a printer, fax, internet, or just save to your hard drive. It's a great addition to the wonderful scanner!
