Hewlett Packard LaserJet 2840 Printer

I bought this all-in-one for my home office as I have large volume of printing for several types of businesses I run. Not that it's slow, but it doesn't print as fast I thought it would. It also often "callibrates" out of the blue which is somewhat noisy. Also, it seems I have difficulty every time I try to scan something. It always says it is not connected to my computer, when it is. I usually have to power the machine off and back on again for it to register the connection. Not a major problem, just more annoying and not as convenient. My biggest problem is that the ink is too expensive and you need 5 different colors, which can add up to be quite a bit in the end. I usually pay around $85 for each and 5 are needed. It's a large machine and I have definitely seen smaller that do just as good of a job. It's not obnoxiously large though. All in all, it gets the job done very well in the end because the print quality is very good. It's not that I don't recommend it, but I think there are better choices to be had.
