Fast printer for a "small" office
Pros
Fast and reliable. Takes up less space. Price is good, too.

If you're going to use it in a small office with less workload, go for it!
I'm a system admin in our company. Our office uses a variety of printers, mainly HPs and some Samsung printers. This one was the last addition that was bought about 6 months ago. Between Samsung ML2010 and this model, I chose this one. The reason was that we had two ML2010s that had been purchased at the same time, about 6 months before this purchase, because of $50 rebate offers. However, it turned out to be a wrong choice. Samsung was slow and loud, and the drive was messed up a couple times.
So far, I'm happy with the choice that I made this time. The HP 1080 exceeds the expectations, considering it's size and cost. It is fast, reliable, not loud as Samsung, and the driver is very stable.
Currently, it is hooked up to a workstation and shared by 2 other workstations. It's very fast in processing printing orders even from networked workstations. No complaint from the staffs except the user of the hooked-up workstation - she has to fill up papers frequently because it only holds about a half the quantity of normal laserjet printers. I would recommend this one if you'd use it in a small office with less workload.
