hp Printer/Fax/Copier Headache

Many good features - but beware of software
I bought this all-in-one printer from the local big box store when my previous all-in-one stopped working. I liked that the Photosmart C7280 had all the home-office basics covered AND the ability to print photos. Plus it supported wireless network printing.

Disposable printer
I puchased this all in one c7280 printer about 16 months ago from Best Buy. Initially the printer was easy to setup up on my wireless network, easy to use and worked well. Constant jams, slow startup, bad printer!
All-in-one printer machines are can be hit or miss, and the HP Photosmart C7280 is a MISS! I have owned and used several HP printers and this has been one of the worst.

Great Printer, Faulty Software
For straightforward printing, both color and black and white, this printer does an extraordinary job with clear, clean print. Prints fairly quickly. The other functions (scanning, faxing, copying) are adequate but not nearly as impressive as the computer qued printing.
