great little, regular AA-battery powered camera
Pros
compact, durable, runs on two AA batteries. Easy to control menu button.
Cons
Slow-warming flash (dark shots) Must open battery compartment when accessing SD card (turns off).

not much negative to write about; a minor inconvenience is the small "shutter" button and other smallish controls, what can you expect from a hand-sized digital? HP has struck a home run, in my opinion (I've had two other HP digital cameras, both with serious design flaws) I also like the fairly easy to control menu button scroll/circle. Sometimes it takes a bit longer (10-12 seconds) for the batteries to "warm up" enough to flash in a dark setting. Also wouldn't it be great if one didn't have to open the battery compartment (thereby shutting off the camera) when accessing the SD memory card?
