Hewlett Packard W1907 19 inch LCD Monitor

Same problem as so many - monitor fails mechanically soon after your warranty expires. Then HP refuses to help. i have filed complaints with the FTC and BBB, but do not expect any results. Wish I would have done my homework, as this is not an isolated problem and is documented well, even on HPs own forum site. Not long after failure of monitor, while researching the issue, I came across complaints of hard drive failure due to cost cutting. Sure enough, 2 months after the monitor failed, the hard drive froze up. Moral of the story - "you get what you pay for", and although the HP package (m8530f pavillion w/ w1907 monitor) was far from inexpensive, it sure seemed like a bargain at the time. Should have spent the money then, instead of headaches now. HP - NEVER AGAIN.
