Hitachi 32UX01S TV

I bought this at Ultimate Electronics for $675. When I went there I had another TV in mind, but when I saw them side by side, the picture quality blew the others away! They were playing the DVD of "Stewart Little" which has lots of bright, saturated colors and again the Hitachi was so much better than the others! I'm a graphic artist and a photographer so I really notice picture quality. The Hitachi didn't just do a great job on colors but also on the gradiation of color - you could tell the difference between the bright orange, the middle hued orange and the darkest orange. And when it's a dark scene you can still see details - it doesn't become a blob of black like most sets do. The picture is so sharp and crisp. Compared to the other tv's on display you could catch so many details on the Hitachi. All my friends who watch my TV assume it's a hi-def television because the picture is so sharp! Even the picture-in-picture feature looks great! Can't go wrong with this great set!
